August 7, 2014

A New Jersey police officer who caused outrage after being caught on video claiming he didn't have to follow the Constitution because Obama had "decimated" the bill of rights has resigned.

As we reported yesterday in a story that was linked on the Drudge Report before going viral, Helmetta Police Officer Richard Recine responded to resident Steve Wronko's complaint about corruption at a local animal shelter and violations of his first and fourth amendment rights by remarking, "Obama just decimated the freakin' Constitution, so I don't give a damn. If he doesn't follow the Constitution, we don't have to." The outburst prompted a huge backlash, with the video receiving over 220,000 views and hundreds of irate comments. Despite initially being the subject of an internal affairs investigation, Recine offered his resignation on Thursday morning, likely as a result of the heated online response.

"They got out and they started hollering my name, and they had guns and I took off running, next thing I know I was getting hit in the head."

Martin Mcclain claims that he was at a local gas station trying to obtain money for a job he did for a friend when plainclothes men ran up to him yelling his name, with guns out. Mcclain then did what any human being in his position would have done when faced with unknown assailants charging at them with guns, he ran...

You wanna be Uncle Sam's bitch? Pay the price!

Russia is introducing a full 12 months embargo on the import of beef, pork, fruits and vegetables, poultry, fish, cheese, milk and dairy products from the European Union, the United States, Australia, Canada and the Kingdom of Norway.

Russia is also introducing an airspace ban against European and US airlines that fly over our airspace to Eastern Asia, namely, the Asia-Pacific Region and is considering changing the so-called Russian airspace entry and exit points for European scheduled and charter flights. Furthermore, Russia is ready to revise the rules of using the trans-Siberian routes, and will also discontinue talks with the US air authorities on the use of the trans-Siberian routes. Finally, starting this winter, we may revoke the additional rights issued by the Russian air authorities beyond the previous agreements. This is such an interesting and major development that it requires a much more subtle analysis than just the crude calculation of how much this might cost the EU or US. I will attempt no such calculation, but instead I would point out the following elements...

A Hidden Camera During DUI Checkpoint Exposes the Vileness of the American Police State | The Free Thought Project

"He's perfectly innocent, he knows his rights, he knows what the Constitution says." mutters the power tripping jackboot cop as he tears apart this innocent man's vehicle for no other reason than to flex his "authority."

"It wasn't a very good alert...." brags the other jackboot about the drug dog "giving them permission" to search this man's vehicle. He was likely about to confess to just how arbitrary their decision was in violating this innocent person's rights, when he spots the camera. "Hey Jim......" and they realize they've been bamboozled. Watching this video is incredibly grounding, we can see just how far the US has progressed into a totalitarian police state. These Stasi checkpoints are NOT for your safety, they are to condition innocent people into acquiescing to state intimidation. If you doubt that claim, research how many of these "DUI Checkpoints" actually catch people that are DUI.

This is What Happens When You Ignore Trey Gowdy's Questions

Rep. Trey Gowdy recently took a liberal law professor to task for attempting to avoid answering a very simple question about seating a biased juror at a trial.

Washington has become a mess of corruption and finding one individual who actually cares about the law and stands on principle is extremely difficult, which is why people love Gowdy. As a man of principle, and a successful attorney with zero losses, it's no wonder why he's been chosen to head up the Benghazi investigation, and why he continues to hammer on the IRS for targeting conservatives.

The sovereign citizen movement is considered the top threat for domestic terrorism, according to a survey of state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies.

Islamist extremists and militia/patriot groups round out the top three threats to communities in the United States considered most serious by 364 officers of 175 state, local, and tribal law enforcement entities, according to a survey conducted by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START). The survey - "Understanding Law Enforcement Intelligence Processes" - found that "52 percent of respondents agreed and 34 percent strongly agreed that sovereign citizens were a serious terrorist threat" as opposed to 39 percent of respondents who agreed and 28 percent who strongly agreed that Islamic extremists were the most serious threat.

WATCH: US Navy SEAL Risks His Career to Publicly Challenge Obama
conservativetribune.com
August 5, 2014

A U.S. Navy SEAL has placed his career at risk by seeking to take on the Obama administration, speaking out against the politicization going on in the military.

Special Operations Petty Officer 1st Class Carl Higbie was disgusted by the politicization of the military that he caught a first-hand glimpse of during his time of service. Part of what enraged the young SEAL was watching fellow soldiers being killed in combat while following "obsolete," but "required" orders in Iraq, along with the treatment several of his fellow SEALS received after being accused of abusing Ahmed Hashim Abed, accusations Higbie says are false. Rather than stand by as these policies, instituted by the Obama administration and liberals in the government, continued to claim lives, Higbie decided to write a book about them, calling for more accountability for individuals in positions of leadership within the military.

Israel has long charged Hamas with firing from residential neighborhoods, endangering civilians around the sites.

Militants in the Gaza Strip were caught on camera Tuesday morning assembling a rocket launch site which they then used to fire a flurry of rockets into Israel on Wednesday minutes before a ceasefire came into effect in Gaza. Sreenivasan Jain and NDTV filmed suspected Hamas members assembling the rocket launch site beneath a tent in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The launch site was placed within feet of hotels and apartment blocks in a crowded residential area.

Target's Data Breach Is Going To Cost The Company Even More Than It Previously Thought
businessinsider.com
August 5, 2014

Target says costs related to its data breach are increasing as sales in the U.S. and Canada lag.

"Since the data breach last December, we have been focused on providing clarity on the Company's estimated financial exposure to breach-related claims," said John Mulligan, interim president and CEO, CFO of Target. "With the benefit of additional information, we believe that today is an appropriate time to provide greater clarity on this topic." And in addition to increasing costs stemming from this data breach, Target also cut its second quarter earnings outlook.
