Today is Patch Tuesday for April, 2025.

It’s as safe as it’s going to be to upgrade to Windows 11 24H2 or macOS 15/Sequoia.

If your Windows 10 (or older) computer can not be upgraded to Windows 11, or if you used a registry or installation bypass to install an older version of Windows 11 on it that is no longer supported, then it’s time for you to start looking for a replacement computer. Actually, the time was 3 months ago. Pickin’s are thin right now. 🙁

There were 320+ major hacks, and over 360 application updates this month. It’s a relatively small month, with about 2.5 GB of updates for most users.

Actually, the time was 6 weeks ago. Pickin’s are thin right now. 🙁

There were 575+ major hacks, and over 300 application updates this month. Even so, it’s a relatively minor month, with about 2.5 GB of updates for most users.

If your Windows 10 (or older) computer can not be upgraded to Windows 11, or if you used a registry or installation bypass to install an older version of Windows 11 on it that is no longer supported, then it’s time for you to start looking for a replacement computer. Actually, that time was about 5 weeks ago. Pickin’s are thin right now. 🙁

There were 275+ major hacks, and over 640 application updates this month. It shouldn’t be that bad though, with about 3.5 GB of updates for most users.

It’s as safe as it’s going to be to upgrade to Windows 11 24H2 or macOS 15/Sequoia.

If your Windows 10 (or older) computer can not be upgraded to Windows 11, or if you used a registry or installation bypass to install an older version of Windows 11 on it that is no longer supported, then it’s time for you to start looking for a replacement computer.
Windows 10 now has only 9 months of support left and I am already seeing availability issues for new computers.

There were 600+ major hacks, and over 300 application updates this month. It’s a “normal” month, with about 4 GB of updates for most users.
